show your BIOS settings
is it listing in BOOT order thing, Linux Mint, or Ubuntu, or just hard drive name?
@lime mulch
Just hard drive name
But if I go into manual EFI boot I see Ubuntu, but am unable to load the file
boot the live system again and follow this #1342591942520864949 message
I can see it here, and then get this: sorry for bad SS btw
did you get it, @lime mulch ?
So I have sda1 as the fat32
And sda2 as ext4
"Gpt detected, please create a bios partition"
And gparted has the new partition option greyed out
just check also in the DISKS app
for sda, what does it say for partition style, near the top?
@lime mulch
Going to have to check that later, little late for dinner atm 🙂 sorry! Thanks for the help
Tho
Did you complete, @lime mulch ?
Not really, taking a look at the partitions it seems mint install is installing to the extra space on the flash drive rather than the HDD of the laptop it's plugged into, I have a 65 gig flash that I used the windows program to flash with the mint iso
I'm not sure why it's doing what it's doing
can you show a clear picture of gnome-disks app with the HDD selected?
Can do that tomorrow, apologies for not having a lot of time today, gf has required a lot form me 😛
alrighty
any progress on this, @lime mulch ?
