I use Cinnamon with arch, after screwing around with things I should not have Cinnamon just boots into a black screen.
Tried every sort of command to restart it but nothing works

is the black screen with mouse cursor showing after going into desktop, or before that, and stuck?

I stupidly disabled sddm because I wanted a simple tty login, but forgot to put in the script to initialize x11, after that I managed to enable sddm again and then this happened
something I did nuked the cinnamon install, and no amount of recovery seemed to work for me, all I got were warnings and failures
