so i just installed mint cinnamon on a 2010 unibody desktop mac which ran os x snow leopard. Once i fully installed mint, the display became partitioned into 4 sections with a large black bar down the middle. Do you know what this could be? or a possible fix? Sorry i know its a lot and kinda confusing

Thank you i really appreciate the help, ive been stressin over this the past few min lol. The exact step by step of what i did is - 1. Installed rufus and mint cinnamon on a separate computer which runs windows 2. I boot up linux mint normally, but i keep getting a “unable to find medium” error message (i restarted and tried again 5 times) 3. I found a forum from 2009 saying if you unplug the boot usb when the linux mint logo pops on your screen, it should bypass the error and work properly 4. I did so, and it worked. I did the entire full install, and after it was completed my screen became separated into 4 parts, like a pained window.
