Home WiFi network connection doesn't work but mobile hotspot does

Would you mind running inxi -n for me?

I've encountered this same situation yesterday somewhere else. Check your wires, antennae, signal, relevant wireless configuration, and password.

Because what inxi tells me is that, it should be alright. Both your ethernet and Wi-Fi has their drivers sorted out.

Not particularly. What I'm trying to say is double check those things. Out of all setups I've did before, I am yet to encounter this.

For the most part, if you got your drivers sorted, the Wi-FI is on, it goes on just pretty fine.

ensure u set the network wifi settings in Mint to use WPA2 security (non-enterprise)

or whatever exact security settings is on the router

you should see the SSID of your home wireless network.

particularly from the taskbar tray icon.
