#Desktop won't load

So recently I've updated something with the update manager and the update broke what seems like a desktop loading file.

What happens is:

I turn on my PC, then it asks to log in Gogdan (which is the username) profile using password.

If I type wrong password, it would say "Invalid password, please try again" and won't let me in, which is to be expected.

If I type the correct password, it would let me through, but then, instead of loading the UI, it just says:
: unable to launch "cinnamon-session-cinnamon" X session --- "cinnamon-session-cinnamon" not found; falling back to default session.
and after I press okay it kicks me back to the user selection screen.

I tried googling it and some say that I can log in with the text mode by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 on the startup.

When in text mode it asks for login and password, but the problem is: even when I type in "Gogdan" login and the password that just previously did let me through, i.e. the correct login and password, it wouldn't let me in now, instead saying "Login incorrect".

So I have no clue what to do and why doesn't it allow the correct password. Do you guys know if there's any way to fix it?

Cool, thanks

you can now see the fixes you said about earlier. or you can attempt to restore back a timeshift snapshot to before upgrade, if you want
timeshift --list

Would it be like just before upgrade or some time ago?

I didn't set it up in any way, hence asking

Alright I tried the latest one, it seems like it occurred just before update
