I want to have an android vm so I can play some mobile games that arent made for windows/linux(for example PvZ 2), what is a good one I can use both on windows and linux? I have tried bluestacks but the experience wasn't very good

Genymotion may be an option, I checked it many years ago and it worked fine from memory, can not remember about performance. They have a free option too you could try for start, https://www.genymotion.com/product-desktop/download/
