Particularly the HDMI/DisplayPort ones because I keep forgetting which number is the for the monitor I actually want sound from

you can install pavucontrol and then in its Configuration tab, set the HDMIs you don't want to Disabled/off

that should prevent them from showing up in tray app or Sound mixer app.

that's another HDMI port likely part of ur Radeon dedicated graphics processor, which will likely handle sound as well.

if you can run it thru that one, then disable the Navi profile entirely
