#BitLocker is disabled in Windows, but Linux Mint Installer says that I have to disable it

double check in Windows Disk Management. Look at the hard drive there. if there is ANY mention of Bitlocker on any partition, it's not disabled.

also turn off Windows Fast Startup in the Power Options Control Panel

Sorry, I hadn't read it! In the end, I ended up running into the same thing you say, by mistake, it turns out that the "Install with Windows Boot Manager" option was installing the system on my data disk 0, which WAS encrypted by bitlocekr HAHA
