Hello,

I switched over to Linux mint from Windows 10 recently. Majority of setting up was a smooth transition. However I've been having issues with my GPU and being able to download the correct driver so it can run properly. I use to have it operating in Windows no problem however Linux Mint is having issues with it. I'm not very good with the Terminal yet and I've been trying to see if there was a way to make this work. Can I please have assistance with having this Driver installed and hopefully have someones expertise to assist with this. I'm able to play videos on the internet with no issue. However I'm unable to run Steam games on my computer. When I use a Linux native game like Portal 2 it's very laggy.

NVIDIA Driver I'm trying to Download: NVIDIA Quadro K5100M

it says not to use that and use your distro packages for good reason

Use either the built in nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 or the one from the ppa

You may eventually have challenges using this and have to switch to the open source driver at some point in the future due to lack of support from Nvidia
