Not a mint support question

Balena etcher is for linux as well right?
@restive lagoon so balena etcher doesn't work in linux?
Windows is not supported by BalenaEtcher
https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/blob/master/docs/USER-DOCUMENTATION.md?d_id=92e06341-01fc-4a38-a96b-16e28fc39aa8&s_id=1672837261619#why-is-my-drive-not-bootable
Oh
I didn't knew that
Does fedora media writer work?
Let me check ventoy as well
no I don't think so
Then ventoy is best option
fedora media writer, mintstick, balena and all them just use dd to copy over the file
I think it's avaibale as appimage
only real one
Sorry I didn't mis guided them
I just ddint knew that balena etcher doesn't make windows iso bootable
For maximum simplicity use windows own media creator on another windows machine
It's best
No point in wasting time teaching you Linux so you can install windows

if the pc u plan to put Windows on is newer, released in last 9 years or so, then use GPT in the Options menu in ventoy partition config.
