boot linux, run sudo os-prober in terminal. it should show it found Windows.

Then run sudo update-grub

SOLVED (Original question was if one has Windows installed one drive, and Linux on the other, but only were launching each via the BIOS boot menu key, how can one have it so a startup menu can be used to select either one.)
