Yes
You can format your whole disk duing installation
Also choose to install the version which ends with "N edition", that edition doesn't come with ads and its less bloated
@true sable can you show us what options are getting during installation through screenshot?
In the install process before disk selection there will be an option that says "Repair my/your Computer" click it then choose command prompt
Once in cmd type in diskpart then list disk
then select the disk you want to install windows on using sel disk [disk number] and once it's selected type in clean
then exit cmd by typing exit twice then you should be able to install windows
This didn't fix it
Send screenshot what you are getting
Or image whatever you wanna say
what overseer boots said should totally work if followed correctly. However, if still having issues, then you can easily do it using a live usb boot of any linux distro containing gparted (like Mint or mx linux, or puppy linux)
do as the red text shows and it will prepare the drive for Windows. (leave it fully unallocated)
note, the above or clean will fully erase the drive selected.
(to a basic way, not anti-forensic)
see my method above too, if you're not comfortable using command prompt. @true sable did u solve this?
@true sable Is this solved, if yes mark it solved
