#is it ok to not verify the iso?

if it works correctly, it's okay
I recommend you to try ventoy, you can just press "Verify checksum" there and it'll do it itself
it is fine but it is best practice to verify just to make sure the iso didnt corrupt
if youre downloading from a torrent verification is not needed
(the error is the system cannot find the file specified)
because you need to input the correct file name.
is this your first time using a command line?
show me alongside the directory contents
it would take less time to verify the ISO than ask if you should verify the ISO. You should always do so when downloading over the web because it takes 30 seconds to verify and can save you hours of wondering why something doesn't work
ok yeah i found my issue
i didn't add the directory to the file name
instead of Downloads\linuxmint-22-cinnamon-64bit.iso i put only linuxmint-22-cinnamon-64bit.iso like the tutorials said
the iso passed the tests
close this then
