every time I download a game on steam, if I tab out to use another app, be it my browser or the terminal, about 3 seconds later the entire system freezes. sometimes it unfreezes after like 10 seconds, sometimes it just never does and I have to hard reboot my laptop. any clue what might be causing the issue? thanks

I also noticed that sometimes when I boot the computer, the log in screen in discolored, letters look glitched, everything is yellowish, same problem if I log into the Wayland session
