Hi all. As per this thread https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=404113 there seems to be an issue with mpv and Muffin. I am running on desktop with a 3700x CPU and a 6700xt GPU, and am having the same issue of mistimed framed with interpolation, leading to noticeable stuttering. When I switch to MATE or drop to a terminal environment via Ctrl+Alt+F1, the stuttering vanishes. I've done all the suggestions in the thread, to no avail. I was wondering if anyone had any further ideas on what to do?

Are you using the mpv version from the repos, or the latest 0.38? If it's the latter I don't have many ideas, seems like a fairly cursed issue.

So yeah I have conclusivly figured out the issue with my stuttering is cinnamon happens on X and Wayland, been bothering me for a while now and I hoped the reinstall would fix it, but it's a core cinnamon issue and now I am both upset and have a conundrum of what to do. MATE is the closest that comes to it but it lacks some stuff I rely on in cinnamon.
