rose hazel
#

latest mint?

bitter pelican
#

yup

rose hazel
#

ok so in xfce 4.18, the thunar file manager has a built-in search function

bitter pelican
#

I searched through the entire file system but i can't find it

rose hazel
#

click Filesystem on the left

#

or put the location to /

#

also then go to view menu

#

and turn on View hidden stuff

#

then click the magnifying glass search tool, and look for the name of file exact spelling and case, then press enter.

#

also,

#

repeat the same thing with a root mode file manager

#

do sudo thunar from terminal.

#

if your file landed in some root (admin's home folder) then u cant see it from a normal file manager

bitter pelican
#

i think i messed up geez

rose hazel
#

use root thunar like i said

bitter pelican
#

yeah i used but when it doesn't find anything it doesn't display anything like i waited for more than a minute i does not find the file

rose hazel
#

open sudo thunar

#

go into the admin's folder called root

#

look around.

#

you probably turned your conf file into a file named Music. (through incorrect use of the move/rename command)

#

never messed around in root

#

or in root mode, in the terminal.

I made a lot of mistakes setting up wireguard initially, once I learned it, it all became very simple.. but just uninstall wireguard, make sure you delete the folder, and reinstall it again, and then start conf all over.
