install neofetch if you don't already have it, and check what it reports for WM (window manager).

idk if gnome will even allow you to, but if somehow could make metacity (older thing) the WM, then u can find coloured metacity themes online.

that or some crazy css editing, but that's something way more deep, and again, not even sure if possible on gnome

modern Cinnamon desktop doesn't separate the titlebars from the window body. I repeat, DOES NOT.

so you're kind of limited.
