How to use MCASelector in linux?

this is a minecraft related question soo um, i want to copy the chunks of my old world and paste it into my current one, but this App named mcaselector can do it, the thing is i dont know how to open the .jar universal file

thats the installation guide but im having trouble understanding since im new to linux. Can anyone help me?

As the GitHub states, you need to use your brain.

1. check or install if you have java installed
   sudo apt install openjdk-21-jdk
sudo apt install openjfx
2. run the program using java -jar
   e.g. java jar ~/Desktop/yourprogram.jar

it complains something about versions, so you may want to download openjdk21 from openjdk website (.deb installer) and javafx from some GitHub
