#linux mint instead of chromeos

It seems Chromebooks have rather locked-down bootloaders. I found this method: (https://dbtechreviews.com/2018/09/13/how-to-install-ubuntu-on-chromebook-and-remove-chromeos/)
but you have to decide you're willing to run random scripts off the web.
If you want to install Ubuntu on your Chromebook and remove Chrome OS, this tutorial is for you. This is not a dual boot. This will REPLACE ChromeOS with Ubuntu. THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING FROM YOUR CHROMEBOOK. Instructions were taken from these locations: http://www.fascinatingcaptain.com/blog/dual-boot-chrome-os-and-linux/ https://johnlewis.i...
OK thanks i look that
you are talking about this script "cd;bash <(curl https://johnlewis.ie/flash_cb_fw.sh)"
