How to disable Alt+Space

Please help, I cant sprint + jump in minecraft because it tabs me out ;-;
I've tried seeking the answer on google but nothing has worked, none are about disabling system hotkeys

are you using cinnamon, mate or xfce?

also why does that interfere with sprint jumping? by default sprinting is mapped to ctrl or double tapped W

na I use Alt because I move w/ R. And Xfce

I curl my pinky and just keep it resting on Alt the whole time and it's really awkward for me to just tap it once and then let go when I need to jump

xfconf-query -c xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts -p "/commands/custom/<Alt>Space" -r
this command should unbind it

you can apparently also do it from the settings, in window manager
