I've this USB Wi-Fi dongle and it have a strange behaviour:

  • When the USB dongle is connect to the computer and I turn it on, it freezes on boot.
  • If I remove the dongle and put it back, the boot resumes and Wi-Fi works perfectly.
  • If I reboot the PC then it boots fine, even with the dongle inserted.
  • If I shut down the PC and turn it backs on, it freezes until I remove the dongle and put it back

There is no useful message when pressing ESC during boot. When the dongle is removed the boot continues as normal.

I'm looking for a way to this don't hang the computer when it boots. Attached some relevant pictures and a dmesg dump. Notice the timestamps at the line 915. This is when I remove and put back the USB dongle.
