I wanted at first a Sovietwave/retrowave theme but I then decided to go with a more cyberpunk theme. I have reached peacefulness😌

iv been seeing that terminal in a few designs, what is it? Does it act as a working terminal and if it does, once you execute a command does it push the whole screen up or can you freeze the top bit with all the info on it
It works just like a normal terminal, its just the terminal with a change of color
I'm not sure if I got your question right, but what you see there is the output of the command "neofetch" this tool is pre-installed very often
It does print the system information and a logo of the distro if provided
The output of neofetch is static and does not get updated without repeating that command..
So there is no reason to keep it on top of a terminal to keep track of ram usage and uptime (the only really volatile information displayed there)
Of course there are other implementations that do the same and might offer some more features...
In general it is used to state all Information that might be relevant for Linux Ricing like desktop environment, Themes Icon Packages
That's why it used that often
