#OpenRGB rules undetected

Just to be sure... did you already install/run the udev rules script from the above url?
Unfortunately still haven't fixed it. Checked the forums and appearently I'm far from alone in this.
When you downloaded the udev file, did you run it to install the udev rules? I actually did this today as well to get all my Corsair RAM and RGB fans working.
@ripe ore im also using OpenRGB. for the most part it works, but my case fans turn off as soon as the application opens. im not able to change the lighting on them, but once i close the application, about 5 seconds after, the case fans come back on. have you any experience with this?
A lot of it is trial and error, to be honest. Change the settings in OpenRGB when you close it so it minimizes to the system tray. Should stay functional then.
I find some of the stock lighting profiles don't work, but you can individually address each LED if you know how many are each fan has. In my case, each fan has 16 LEDs, based on my tinkering with it.
Id did run it yes and the rule file is in the right folder
However the openrgb program doesn't seem to detect it
The file is actually irrelevant. You want to run the shell commands inside of it. I think I basically copy/pasted it into terminal and it did its thing without issues 😂
I just did what you suggest and it still doesn't work
Hmm... What hardware is it you're trying to get working?
