#Can't get past the mint loading screen after grub menu

I was downloading stuff and decided to restart the computer. However, it won't get past the mint loading screen.

Context:
Earlier today I was using gparted to orgazine my partitions(moved stuff to the left to combine 2 partitions) I don't know if that's relevant because everything seemed fine after finishing. Not the first time restarting the computer after that. Other than that I setup an audiorelay server. Something that happenned the last time the computer was on was that the firewall was not openning(tried tweaking the options because the firewall was likely blocking me from using audiorelay's server.
I booted live from an usb and it went through normally.
The things I was downloading were a couple games from epic, steam and GOG.
I also performed a security update that the OS suggested.
The disk is dual booted and windows 10 boots normally.

The situation is:
When turning on the pc it goes through to the grub screen, if mint cinnamon is selected it shows the loading screen you get before login and it stays black till a hard reset is done.

But I named it that way to know which partition to choose when I was installing mint

#

I was confident that I've chosen this one

hasty mist
#

cant be, it's NTFS

hollow cairn
#

Partition 6 is Ext4 and p2 is FAT32

It was working before and I don't think I installed any new drivers or piece of hardware

hasty mist
#

maybe there's a second kernel due to that security update u mentioned. reboot to mint 900 to grub screen, choose Advanced Mint options

hollow cairn
#

Right

hasty mist
#

hollow cairn
#

Alright time for praying
