Is there a way to center date/time inside the calendar applet?

I have date and time in 2 lines and them being rightbound is bothering me a bit

I believe this is controlled by theme, and I assume you are not using neither Mint-Y, Mint-L, or Mint-X?

using a customized mint-y-dark-blue for desktop
but does not change with standard minty-dark-blue

ok, tad embarrassing, but apparently it WAS centered, just did not look like it due to date ending with "7." (no year) and being almost same length as time...
