VIDEO lag, not performance.
I recently switched to Linux Mint about a month ago and everything is cool and fine, yet anytime I use Discord Screen share or record with OBS, the VIDEO lags significantly, but frames still keep the same ??
Example: Multiversus runs 120fps, when I screen share or record with OBS, it still says it's running at 120fps but it feels like 30 or lower, the video is horrible and unpleasant. Any help regarding this ? I'm running Linux Mint on an Nvidia GTX 1650 and an Intel Core i5 11th Gen 11400H @ 2.70GHz, 16GB RAM. This is obnoxious.

i have the same issue but only on a very old gpu, newer ones like the 1650 worked fine
try switching from software mode encoding to nvenc and vice versa in file > settings > output and change the video encoder for recording or streaming depending on what you use
It's on NVENC
try software mode i guess, if it doesnt help revert it back to nvenc
Nope, it's still the same
Could this be an issue regarding the Intel UHD Graphics ?
Like, maybe instead of using the Nvidia card it's using the Intel one for hardware encoding
Wouldn't make sense, its on performance mode though
