Partition drive and make it bootable

I'm on linux mint currently and wondering how to make a partition bootable and how to mount a iso to the partition
Is this possible using just the "Disks" application on linux mint?
(basically want to dual boot windows on my pc without using USB)

Also very possible I'm misunderstanding something

nah. u can't do it with windows iso. it's heavily packed and meant for properly installing, not running live or whatever.
