linux mint crash after clicking "Start linux mint"

I was trying to download linux mint everything went fine until i pressed start linux mint and it suddenly just crashes, i tried all the buttons from that screen and it didn't helped anything what do i do(im a mega noob i started on my linux journey like 2 days ago)

ok. Mint 21.3 should work fine for that. Just check in Windows that Fast Startup is off.

It loads the first file but the second one it doesn't

Also that might not be useful but i used ventoy to make the bootable usb

When it tries loading initrd.lz it stays like that forever and never finishs

did you use fairly recent Ventoy, and just have it set up with the defaults?

ok, reboot. and boot to USB. (if your computer shows any UEFI USB option, don't use that) then on the 2nd ventoy screen, do a

verify checksum

i don't think that makes a difference; as long as the main long calculated value matches, then the copy is fine.

So uhhh if u dont wanna switch distros to fix the issue i found out today that it was caused because of bad burning, instead of ventoy(if you were using it) use unetbootin and start linux mint with compability mode

interesting, but having to use Compatibility mode is already a big red flag, an early sign of trouble and/or incompatible system that will just unfold MORE problems later.
