i installed a theme, didn't like it, uninstalled (or tried to), but the themes still show in themes app, and icons are still the same. Was the WhiteSur theme I installed from github.

I know how to change theme. I'm saying that the themes still appear even tho not in themes folder, and my icons are still the icons that came with installing the theme.

that's strange. When you go to advanced theme settings, and click the icons button, how many icon themes show up?
have you tried a reboot to refresh things?
