not working even in Windows?
nop
at least with the headphones i tried back then
all-in-one form factor pc. double check that you used the correct 3.5mm line out port. Often a pale green colour.
and check the Windows (or Linux) sound settings to ensure it's using Analog Output, not hdmi-out (or other)
ok thanks i will check
also, switch to pipewire and update your kernel
I think most any recent kernel, including 5.15 would handle this fine. That model of xeon is from 2011. The audio driver shown in the info (snd_hda_intel) seems promising.
but if after checking ports, volume levels, and output profiles (including getting pavucontrol for easy configuring of config/sound profiles) and it still doesn't give at least analog sound output, then consider to switch fully over to pipewire. Details may follow for this.
Hello. Any progress on this?
i did check it but it didn't work, anyways my pc in which i was using linux mint is damaged
so i think i cannot use linux anymore
buy this portable usb soundcard, it doesn't cost much.
ok, thanks for the help btw
I guess mark the ticket 'abandoned'
