I originally decided to take the plunge and become a Linux user because I encountered ricing via r/unixporn, specifcally, this rice that someone made.

How would I implement this on my daily driver that runs Mint Cinnamon 21.3? I still know barely anything about Linux, not enough to rice it that's for sure. Is it possible to make my DE look like that, from the provided files on Github? What do I need to test, tweak, change, etc? What commands do I use to actually make the changes? I just have so many questions, but I'd love to use that awesome looking DE, provided no one thinks it's a dumb idea.

As from scanning the repo, you're supposed to download the specific AppImage compatible to your device, make it executable, and open it.

It's not really rice afaik. It's a terminal emulator.

If there's anything relevant to ricing Cinnamon that I could give you, here. It's quite far from this but it should at least make you aware of the things you need to know to make your desktop look like that.

Ah, okay! Thanks for that.
