that's honestly pretty simple. I believe there is a ubuntu-desktop package you can install that installs gnome and some of the ubuntu software from the repos.
although it is going to be whatever version 22.04 came with until LM updates to 24.04 for the base

I am aware that it was easy to be added in Unity.
But after they returned to GNOME, I thought it no longer that easy to be done.
But it seems from this video that it is currently possible.
