I added a few of kali repos in debian and THIS MF HAPPENED

Hmm, I don't believe that neofetch will detect a different distro by just adding some other distro repos

actually i used screenfetch, that detects so, because after i did sudo apt upgrade, BOOM. Kali login screen appears after a restart

mint probably wouldn't allow that to happen tho

Well login screens and some apps can change in appearance but the distro info is stored in /etc/os-release file or In /proc/version

That can't just change ...

possibly the upgrade changed stuff in those files as well

Well, it's either that it screen fetch is using a custom config file or screenfetch is using a custom config file
