Hi there, before I start I've been trying to fix this issue for many hours. I'm so unable to figure this out so any help is so so appreciated.

For some reason the only drive it's detecting is my main one with windows OS I have an HDD and then a large 4 TB SSD I partitioned 1.5 Terabytes on for with the L drive you see in windows. I'm not sure why and I've tried unplugging and replugging the drives in but considering they're working fine in windows I think it's a linux thing.

cancel the installer and close it, run gparted from start menu and ur disk should show. (the 4TB dsk with the 1500 GiB volume)

#

make a note of its dev name there, then u can pick it in installer. do the 'something else' install option

#

if still no-go, then boot to Windows, enter Disk Management, scroll down to show the graphic layout of the 4 TB drive and send pic here.

#

let's say the 4 TB disk shows in Disk Management as Disk 3, in such example, right click right on the words 'Disk 3'and then> Properties> Volumes tab: check the Partitioning style, and tell it here.

hey thank you so much for commenting so this morning I hadn't seen this reply and worked on it eventually I figured that I could fix it by going into bios and switch from RAID to AT
