Yes, it should just detect the new hardware. But there is a caveat: If the hardware is new, i.e. from the last 1-2 years, support with the 5.15 LTS kernel on Mint main can be spotty. So what you want to do, in this order:
- make a Timeshift snapshot
- upgrade the kernel to 6.5 via Update Manager > View > Linux Kernels
- do your hardware upgrade
- boot and check if everything works
