check with the command inxi -Fxz and read the line(s) about CPU in the result. it will show current average Hz, min/max, and current frequency per core

in Windows 10 it's always been actual 4.4 i guess

idk. if that is really true, it's cooking your thermal paste and wasting power

see how it performs now on linux after setting up the o/c .. run it a couple days with games n such

i dunno how it should work... i have CPU overlock since 5 years in windows 10
