#How to restore Ctrl c shortcut to default

I wanted to do copy, so i changed the shortcut to ctrl c, now the thing that ctrl c does is not working (interrupt) and i cant find it anywhere.

PS i cant do sudo operations since it was done in my computer lab computer

not sure where u changed the keybinding in the first place.

if it was in the terminal program's own settings, then go back in there. the default for copy is 'ctrl-shift-c'

default for cancel is 'ctrl-c' in terminal.

  • if there's no settings in the Terminal preferences pertaining to this, then open System Settings, go to Keyboard, shortcuts, and see the list for application-specific shortcuts.
