#When to use bookmarks vs favorites?

I'm new to Mint and trying to discern when to use one over the other. I started favoriting hard to find folders, like my steam one, but then I bumped into bookmarks as a feature. How do I utilize these two systems? I am guessing they each have different intended uses.

I think favourites are fairly new, I have actually not used them yet. You will have to try and see which work better for you.

bookmarks work for folders, in that you can access them from the sidepane of Nemo (File manager)

they'll also show in the menubar in Bookmarks

Favourites work for files, in addition to folders. can be used to make a photo album of sorts, or have an important document at the ready.
