Im using a chromebook, and im trying to use a usb drive that has 8 gigs of storage as ram. ive done research and nothing rly helps with what im looking for. Im trying to play games smoother and i only have 4 gigs normally. how can i do this.

There is no fixing your slow hardware. You could upgrade RAM, but flash media are not usable for that, way too slow.
