Hi, I'm new to using Linux in general, figured mint would be a decent transition from windows. I was wondering if the boot logo can be changed, and if so, how can I go about this? Thanks.

How to change boot logo in linux mint

I want to change my Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon boot image manually.

So, I replaced the image located at:

/lib/plymouth/themes/mint-logo/logo.png
with mine.

The logo changes at shutdown but not at b...
