problem with plank no auto hide

i just installed plank and i want it always visible i dont want it to autohide, the problem is it appears like this, is there a way to make it like the second image

would have to check in Appearance settings

set it to centered, and have it auto width adjust

check the dock, is it still wider than it should be?

oh .. odd. Maybe that slider u have set to minus 8

or simply reset to all defaults and it will fix it for sure

unless u put some kind of expanding spacer to the left side, as a docklet

and the Docklets tab for some obscene spacer setting
