#Default kernel in grub is set to liquorix but I want it to be generic mint kernel

Description:

  • Liquorix somehow became the default kernel in grub. What I did was download xanmod and liquorix and then I found in grub-customizer that in the script for the "linux mint" entry was somehow edited to fire up liquorix, which is something I didn't do. Now every time I select that option in grub with every boot, liquorix woud fire up instead of the generic one.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • downloaded xanmod
  • downloaded liquorix
  • grub and grub-customizer set liquorix, xanmod, and generic in that order
  • listed generic kernel to be on top in grub-customizer

Expected Behavior:

  • grub-customizer will edit the "linux" and "initrd" line to generic kernel after I changed the order in the menu and saved

Actual Behavior:

  • nothing happened and it still launches with liquorix kernel

Sorry for bad English in advance

Reboot and use Grub Advanced options to boot into a 5.15 kernel
