#Not able to install windows after installing linux (FIXED)

I installed linux mint, however i'd like to install windows again. Problem is, i've done this many times before and it always worked until now and i'm out of options. I've made a windows 11 USB via another windows pc, went to the BIOS settings, made sure that the usb is first in "boot" order and all that happened was it would boot into linux mint regardless. This has NEVER happened before to me.

Afterwards, i tried woeusb-ng and ventoy and NEITHER of them worked. Ventoy gave me an error, running it with wimboot told me there were no drivers, and woeusb-ng did the same thing as my usb (booted into linux anyways).

Now i decided to try windows 10 instead and my usb doesn't even show up anymore in the BIOS. It showed up one time (and booted straight into linux again -_-) and now it's just gone nomatter what i do.

I've tried disabling/enabling secure and fast boot but those didn't help either so i decided to come here in case someone knows what to do in my situation.

That is odd. When using Ventoy, do you have a regular Windows ISO file on it? Does it boot to the Ventoy menu at all?

Does the USB show up while in mint?

@ashen night i've tried ventoy just now again. Now even that isnt showing up in BIOS. I'm starting to think this is my usb fault or something. Although this has never happened before with other linux distros when i wanted to revert back to windows. And yes - there's a regular windows ISO file on it.

And the USB does show up while in mint, with bios its like 1/100 chance it will show up and when it does it boots into mint regardless of me changing the boot order
