Did you try using the same headphones with other equipment like for example your mobile phone? And did you maybe try to connect any other bluetooth device to the same linux machine? I am asking because everything works for me on Mint. Also check if the bluetooth is active in the panel ... ust click on the bluetooth icon and it will ask you to turn it on if it is turned off.
a) pair up
b) pick from Settings> Sound item.
Yes I did and it worked with my phone. I was not very precise in my explanation, my bad. the problem is that i can connect my speaker, but not my bluetooth headphones. the computer asks for a passkey to connect the headphones, but I never defined one and it was not asked when i connected my speaker.
put 0000
What headphones?
I sometimes struggle when connecting new devices (especially my keyboard), the problem is gone when you let bluetooth on for your computer and your device then log in again, you get a dialogue box asking permission to connect, there's something like 'always accept' which you have to click, I haven't had any problem after that
yes with headphones, and the code 0000 doesn't work, I already tried. I still haven't succeeded to connect my headphones
I read the bluetuith could help, but it still didn't work
Yeay what a competend help
Bluetooth is sometimes stupid in the best of circumstances. Do you have the Model Number and make of the headphones, and its owner's manual? check that manual, it may have a certain way to do things.
