I have no problems with other sources' audio quality, but when i have an audio stream coming from Firefox it occasionally skips forwards a little. I have adjusted pulseeffects' pipeline settings to the point of notable lag from other sources, but it seems to not have any effect on Firefox.

go into Firefox Preferences and enter "acceler" in the search field at the top. It will direct to the Hardware Acceleration option, and check performance mode, and enable hardware accel. to on.
