mint isint minting

I have now finally been able to load mint through a usb, and i am now greeted with the os page and i press enter but nothing happenes after that black screen, literally nothing, it stays like that

What's the problem? It looks like it is HP'ing just fine.
Joking aside which version of Mint are you working with?

And yeah indeed it is HP'ing but aint minting

Mint wont boot, it has stayed like that still now been like 3hrs

I somehow managed to boot the usb back and searched for the disk partitions, there were 3, one had boot bios and other had spmething similar and third was empty 500gb(that is the size of the sigh hdd.)
I made 3 more partitions one of 100gb and 2 of 200gb, and chose to format it. The formatting will easily take at this speed around next 2-3hrs

After that ill reinstall the os from the usb and see if it works

I did but not anymore, I think windows was already formatted

But anyways after so many hours and failures I have given up on mint os and installed mx Linux, it took 45 mins
