Attempting to launch Lethal Company or Hydroneer from Steam with Steam Play enabled will cause steam to show it as running for a second before closing without opening any windows etc.
Have tried clearing relevant compdata and verifying all install files, but no luck

do you know how to run Steam with the -console argument? It gives you an extra tab in Steam with some extra info useful for finding out what's going wrong :)

found it: they were installed on an ntfs partition since i was originally planning on making this a dual boot machine, but might was well reformat it to ext4

I've seen people have some success running it on a BTRFS partition using the WinBTRFS Driver tho
