as long as it's not a chromebook
what desktop u on?
Cinnamon Edition
alright,
how do you like to listen to your sound? the headphone jack, the built-in speakers, or another way?
Thank you very much!!
All the ways
alright so we'll start with Sound Settings. right click the volume icon, and start that
show a pic of that
For example: In Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, the sound works after installation, but only if you update the system with the sudo apt upgrade command, then after restarting the system, it does not see the sound card... At the moment I'm sitting on Linux mint 21.1, the flight is great!
are you chatting from Mint now?
bring up sound settings, then hit printscreen key, copy to clipboard, n paste here
Linux mint 21.1 is currently installed - everything works fine, but I want to upgrade to 21.3 - I have a question about stability, I would like to know in advance if everything will work perfectly as well as on 21.1?
well it uses the exact same kernel, so what you're familiar with should remain the same
if you're having a no-sound issue, open Sound Settings. it may simply be the Output volume is too low,
it should look similar to this:
Thank you very much! You have helped me a lot!!
did u get sound working?
The sound worked for me initially. I just asked if everything would work if I upgraded to version 21.3 on Huawei laptops with other distributions - this is a big problem especially with sound
