My machine witt LMDE 6 seems to not recognise the graphics. It's just says VGA compatible controller. Is there any drivers I can install or something?

Do you know which generation Iris graphics that is? If very recent, you need a newer kernel. Otherwise, please share the output of inxi -Gxxxz.
