Linux Mint has been awesome so far, fulfilling most of my needs, including gaming.

However, sometimes when I press 4 keys while playing a game, the keyboard stops working except for the space bar and the escape key. When this happens, I press the escape key and the letter keys start working again.

This seems to be only be a problem when using linux mint, as I have never had this issue when using the keyboard while using Windows 11

How do I fix this and prevent this from happening ? I'm using a mechanical keyboard separate from my laptop.

This is also happening on Battlefield 1 on Steam via Proton Experimental.

My specs:

OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon

Processor and Graphics: AMD Ryzen 5 5600h and Nvidia RTX 3060 Mobile

Keyboard: Logitech G413SE

Yes it does, it also happens on Titanfall 2

hmm

#

go to your keyboard settings

#

disable key repeat and see if that does it

#

and if not turn it back on and adjust its delay to see if that does it
